 Welcome to the Lambec Family Camp web site. In 1997 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of Camp Lambec. There are some who have been attending family week for about 50 years. For those of us who have been going to family camp for as far back as we can remember, Lambec holds many special memories. Family camp becomes a special community of people for one week each year. It is a throw back to 'the good old days' when people sat out on their front porches and chatted with neighbors walking by. There have been three generations of campers at family week and hopefully in a few more years there will be a fourth generation. It is not the pool or plush cabins or new technology or faddish programs that keep us coming back - it is the people. Take a look around at what family campers have to say about Lambec; their memories, their favorite activities, their trivia questions and their general reminiscing. Veteran campers will enjoy the photos of familiar people, activities and landscape. |
